Hi, I'm Sariful Islam
Co-founder & CTO at Zubizi Web Solutions
A Quick Hello
I'm a self-taught developer who fell in love with building things that make life simpler for others. What started as a kid tinkering with computers eventually led me to co-found Zubizi Web Solutions with my brothers in 2017.
Today, as CTO, I lead our technical strategy - designing and building ERP systems, billing platforms, and inventory tools for small and medium businesses across India. I've spent over 12 years in business and 10+ years in tech, learning that the best software is the kind you barely notice because it just works.
My philosophy is simple: "Software should learn how you work and adapt to it - not the other way around." Every line of code I write exists to save someone time, reduce friction, or help them focus on what actually matters.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me playing chess (really bad), reading, or exploring new places. I love sharing what I learn through this blog - the wins, the failures, and everything in between.

More Than a Developer.
I have spent over 12 years building software for businesses. Not just writing code, but understanding operations, solving real problems, and helping companies grow. That experience shapes everything I build.
Full-Stack Development
I have been building complete systems for over a decade now. From database design to frontend interactions, I enjoy working across the entire stack. It helps me see problems that others might miss when they only focus on one layer.
Product Strategy
Over the years, I have learned that building the right thing matters more than building things right. I spend a lot of time understanding what a business actually needs before writing any code. It saves everyone time and money in the long run.
Business Operations
Working with ERP, billing, and inventory systems for so many years has taught me how businesses actually run. I understand the day-to-day challenges of managing stock, tracking sales, and keeping the books straight. That context makes a real difference in what I build.
SEO & Growth
I picked up SEO out of necessity early in my career and it stuck. Now I naturally think about how users will find and discover what I build. It is just part of how I approach every project, whether it is a website or a product dashboard.
Team Leadership
I have had the chance to build and lead teams over the years. I enjoy mentoring developers, reviewing code, and making sure projects stay on track. There is something satisfying about helping others grow while shipping quality work together.
Long-term Partnership
I have never been the type to disappear after a project launches. Some of my client relationships go back years. I find it rewarding to stick around, keep improving things, and watch a business grow with the software I helped build.
Why Zubizi is in
Safe Hands
Zubizi is my flagship product. It is ERP and billing software built for small and medium businesses. When you choose Zubizi, you are getting the result of everything I have learned across 12+ years of building business systems.
I lead a dedicated team that builds and maintains Zubizi. I stay closely involved in every decision, reviewing code, guiding architecture, and making sure everything meets the standards I have set. Nothing ships without my sign-off. That level of oversight is what keeps Zubizi reliable.

Get in TouchWhat I am Working On
I try to focus my energy on things that will have a real impact. Right now, that means making technology simpler for businesses and staying ahead of the curve on AI and automation.
AI-Driven Automation
I have been fascinated by AI for a while now, and I am finally at a point where I can integrate it meaningfully into our products. Right now, I am working on smart inventory forecasting and conversational analytics for our ERP systems. The goal is software that actually anticipates what you need, not just responds to commands. It is still early days, but the results are promising.
Empowering Indian SMEs
Most enterprise software is built for large corporations with IT departments. But the majority of Indian businesses are small and medium-sized, and they deserve tools that are just as powerful but way simpler to use. I spend a lot of my time building for garment manufacturers and retailers specifically, because I know that space well and I see how much they struggle with clunky software.
Technical Leadership
At Zubizi, I guide the technical direction while making sure the team has what they need to do their best work. I review code, set architectural standards, and try to create an environment where people feel safe to experiment. I have learned over the years that great software comes from people who feel ownership over what they build, not just from following orders.
Always Learning
The tech landscape keeps shifting, and I genuinely enjoy keeping up. Right now, I am deep into LLMs and exploring how they can make business software smarter without adding complexity. I also spend time on edge computing and performance optimization. Some of it makes it into products, some of it just makes me better at what I do. Either way, I think staying curious is non-negotiable in this field.

Things I Have Built
From billing software that started as a side project to enterprise systems used by businesses across India. Here are a few things I am proud of.
Zubizi ERP
Flagship ProductThis is the product I have poured most of my energy into over the past few years. It is a complete cloud-based ERP solution built specifically for garment manufacturers and retailers. I saw how much these businesses struggled with generic software that did not fit their workflow, so I built something that actually makes sense for how they operate. It handles billing, inventory, accounting, and production tracking, all in one place.
Barcode Generator
Free ToolI built this because I kept seeing small businesses pay for expensive software just to print barcode labels. It felt unnecessary. So I created a free online tool that lets anyone generate professional barcodes with PRN export for thermal printers. It is not meant to make money directly, but it helps people, and some of them end up discovering Zubizi through it.
Sales Analysis Tool
Free ToolAnother free tool that came from a real need. Business owners kept asking me how to make sense of their sales data without hiring an analyst. So I built a simple tool where you upload your CSV export from any ERP, and it gives you instant insights. Top products, size distribution, trends over time. It runs entirely in the browser, so your data never leaves your computer.
These are just highlights. I have worked on many more projects over the years,
from custom solutions for specific clients to internal tools that never saw the light of day.
